Ayurvedic Yoga and Mental Health Session/Workshop

This workshop integrates the principles of Ayurveda and yoga to promote overall well-being and mental health. Participants will learn how to balance their doshas (energy/ chakras) through specific yoga practices, dietary guidelines, and lifestyle adjustments. The session/workshop is designed to provide a holistic approach to managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges by aligning body, mind, and spirit.
Objectives:
To educate participants on the basics of Ayurveda and its three doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).
To explore how we can increase body-mind awareness through an Ayurvedic lens to live a healthy and preventative lifestyle.
To explore the connection between doshas and mental health.
To practice yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation tailored to balance each dosha.
To provide dietary and lifestyle tips to maintain mental and physical harmony.
