Each Nature Walk Day Retreat Includes:

  • Nature Walk Day Retreat Duration - 5 hours

  • Itinerary:
    • Opening, 30 Minutes - Welcome, Introductions, Group pairing, Review Agenda / Itinerary and Maps
    • Walk, 90 Minutes - 2.5 to 3 miles total
      • 45 Minutes of walking to a location
      • 20 Minutes of meditation at that location (break time for drinks and snacks)
      • 45 Minutes of walking back to the start of the walk
    • Lunch & Wellness Lesson, 60 Minutes
      • Will have a wellness lesson theme for each walk
    • 60 Minutes of Yoga or Hypnotherapy, Meditation & Affirmations Card
    • Retreat Ends

Instruction At the Time of Sign-Up

  • Tell them to bring a notebook if they want to take notes (at time of inscription)
  • Wear comfortable breathable clothing, shoes for walking/hiking, Waterproof if available
  • Bring a backpack, snacks, and any other items you may need for the walk, but pack lightly. Bags can get heavy over the duration of the walk.
  • Waiver needs to be signed - day of event
  • Walk will cross a small stream, shoes may get wet, staff will assist with crossing

Instructions to Walkers

  • Walk at the pace of the group
  • Try to keep side conversations at a minimum
  • Have conversations about the theme of the day
  • Learn the connection between breath, posture, and stress
  • Learn movement as an emotional release
  • Practice chest/shoulder open
  • Practice deep breathing
