Jasper Mislak, current Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Maryland Baltimore, is expected to complete his studies in 2026. He is dedicated, compassionate, professional, and is committed to ensuring exceptional service and a high quality of care when it comes to working with clients and the community. He understands that the front desk is an important first line of connection for people seeking mental health services and feels that bravery should be rewarded with patience and compassion. In his previous career as an editor for an academic press, he has learned the interpersonal and organizational skills needed to schedule, problem-solve, and lend an empathic ear. As a former intern of DIY Wellness, he believes in the agency’s holistic and humanistic centering of healing and growth, and his interactions with others are based in the knowledge that we all have the capacity to change. In his spare time, Jasper enjoys reading, writing, drawing, dancing, and having a variety of nerdy interests.
